Something a Little Different: Rob Ryan at Somerset House
I ll choose to use laser cut machine in this way...but I guess they are doing super huge one. So they have to use hand crafting..they have skill!!!
this video on Rob Ryan’s Blog, it’s a timelapse of the huge, detailed paper cut that they were working on at the fair – it’s so beautiful:

A new green file format: WWF
Every day, entire forests are cut down to make paper. Paper that’s senselessly used to print out documents all over the world: websites, emails, even entire books, in spite of the fact that it’s easy to avoid printing by saving the document as a PDF. But even PDFs can sometimes also be printed out. So to stop unnecessary printing and encourage a new awareness about the use of paper, we’ve developed a new, green file format: WWF. A format that can’t be printed out. A simple idea that saves trees. Join in. Decide for yourself which of your documents don’t need printing – and save them as WWF.

2011 will be amazing
I just know it 2011 will be amazing too!! Tips from positivelypresent > How To Make 2011 Your Best Year Yet
Get involvedNow is the time to get involved in what it is that excites you. No, not next month or later in the year. NOW. Think back to the things or activities or people that get you excited and ask yourself, "How can I become more involved? How can I get into that, and experience those feelings, even more often than I already do?" You need to be doing whatever it is that you love most in the world. You need to be figuring out a way to be involved with what you love most and to be involved with it as often as you can.
Get going
Now that you've identified what you want to do and how you can become more involved in it, it's time to get going. 2010 may have just begun, but it will be over before you know it. Don't put off the things you want to do. The year will be shorter than you imagine it to be. You will find yourself at the end of it, thinking,"What did I do this year?" Don't let yourself get to the end of the year without doing what it is that you really, truly want to do. It's a new year, a new decade, and it's time to get going!
Last year was a really amazing year for me. I BELIEVE this year too!! I cant wait for everyday excitement (^з^)-☆
Get excited
Stop and think right now about what gets you excited. If you had a day to do anything you wanted to do, what would it be? What is that thing that, when it crosses your mind, leaves you feeling so overjoyed or pumped up that you can barely sit still? Keep that thought in your mind, keep doing whatever it is that makes you that happy, and keep surrounding yourself with people who support those things that make you oh-so-excited. You need to support yourself. You need to do the things that make you the happiest. And you need to have people in your life that support your happiness.
Get involved

2nd negotiate brief
Not Just Fleurons The Brief from ISTD
We want you to consider plants in the broadest possible ways – their form, colour, size, texture, smell, taste, feel, associations, personalities, uses reputations, botanical names – and develop an eye-catching and informative outcome that interprets and celebrates plants and the concept of the garden and its role in our lives
I chosen to study the shapes of leaves from the gardens. I took a walk to the houses at Cheltenham Road and found some different leaves shaped. They are so beautiful. But in the bunch of the plants. We don't notice it. I collected them and design an Infographic Poster with its name of the shapes.
here are some progress of laser cut for the leaves shaped.
Study with nature is so inspiring and exploration will be continue...

Brief Title: Recycle the system
Using the materials provided construct a bridge that connect homeless people to their desired recyclable rubbish. Everyday homeless people search through diseased bins to seek out recyclable items in order to earn some cash. How can you make it easier for them to retrieve it.
We designed a recycle system which we will build a station in 11s public park in Bristol where they able to reach. The stop will be a recycle center for the area of residential. This designed is to make the communities convenient to throw away their unwanted junk in another helping the homeless peoples.
Aim
is to help homeless people get their desired rubbish easier.

The BANKSY Q EXHIBITION
I went to THE BANKSY Q show of those who queued and all of their drawings during the summer of 2009, more than 300 000 people queued to see the Banksy vs Bristol Museum exhibition. They waited in all weathers for up to four hours to get in. The People's Republic of Stokes Croft saw the queue as possibly Banksy's greatest work of art and asked the queuers to 'express themselves' on specially made cards. They lost a lot of pens and a lot of cards, but in the end managed to collect about 3500 artworks. Katy Bauer, who conceived and ran the project, also filmed and took snapshots.

Lernert & Sander
Lernert & Sander are two dutch artists and friends who decided that working alone was getting boring and started collaborating on art related projects. Since their first video Chocolate Bunny they've been working on commercials, leaders, art movies, documentaries and installations. Their aim is to make simple and communicative works, that takes little note of the existing border between contemporary art and commercial projects. Their highly esthetic, humorous and dedicated works are often challenging the media and its viewer, in a simple but very effective way. Their work was selected for international festivals in New York, Rio de Janeiro and Oberhausen.

What does craft mean to you?
What does craft mean to you?
An Endless Supply is the working name of Harry Blackett and Robin Kirkham. Formed in 2009 we work through self-publishing, collaboration, design and curation. Recent themes: eyes, symbols, fan-fictions, user-generated content. We print using a Risograph GR2710 and GR3770, an economical means of production on the brink of obsolescence.
Marie O'Connor
Designer and illustrator Marie O'Connor works on collaborative and independent projects, building a diverse folio of work across a range of disciplines. I always like when a visual is not only a visual but combination with materials. It just look more interesting and attractive. She spends her time between London and Stockholm and is also a member of Peepshow Collective.

Rabbit - Run Wrake
Run Wrake is known as an animator & illustrator, who has collaborated with Howie B & created visuals for U2's Vertigo tour. His latest short animation "Rabbit" has been very successful at many film festivals all round the world.
The story is basically a very simple morality tale about greed, the dangers of greed & exploring nature. It came about when he found some 1950's stickers in a junk shop & thought it would be great to make a film out of them. There were about 200 different stickers. It took about 16 months from the start. He spent about one year for actual making animation and 4 months for pre-production. Howie B helped out with the music & all sound effects were done by Craig Butters.

Nike X HIFANA – Nike Music Shoe
Some where in a top secret location in Tokyo, break beat music duo, HIFANA (composed of KEIZOmachine and JUICY) discovered that Nike Free Run+ running shoes can drop beats like realtime samplers and no other. HIFANA eschewed a part of their regular break beat set up and hooked up the mixers and sound systems to Nike Free Run+ shoes. When bent or twisted, the ultra-flexible Nike Free Run+ drops different tunes and sounds. Furthering proving that every pair of shoes is different and there is a pair for everyone, and that the great performance Nike Free Run+ is flexible enough to fit any feet and running style or activity, the Nike Music Shoe video is not just about shoes as instruments. Check out the hopping performance from HIFANA which is signature of their creative and original live performances, and see how Nike shoes can sing different tunes. Just take note, the actual Nike Free Run+ sold in stores is absolutely and exclusively a running shoe, and will not sing when bent or twisted, so don’t rush to throw out your mixers just yet.
